A lot of people tend to mistake a skill with a hobby. A hobby is something you just enjoy doing without the passion to further it nor wanting to do beyond what you already know about your hobby. Then there’s skill which is one of the greatest things God has given us as human being for us to cherish and also embrace. Right know as I’m talking about skills a lot of people are thinking about their dancing abilities and singing abilities, well skills are a far greater that just dancing and singing, they entail one being able to use their intellectual knowledge and do what others do not think of doing or do not see as a skill for instance inventing motor vehicle using wood and wires as well as an old battery to get it off the ground and working.
Skills are mostly the things you can do without you realizing that you are actually unveiling the best in you that the world has never seen. It is when you give it your all to make it happen and you eventually succeed in it and it makes you happy beyond measure that you find yourself wanting to know and do more on that particular skill of yours. Having to know the skills you have is like you realizing how much of a rare breed you truly are and learning how to nourish it and embrace it.
We were all born with our hands folded and what was inside our hands is exactly what will take us out of our misery’s and that is our gold that the Almighty gave to each and every one of us. That gold you were holding is your skill. It has been there, it’s still there and it will forever be there waiting for you to discover it and embrace it. The gold that no other man can take it away from you and that gold is your skill.
