    Health and Safety

    The Health and Safety course should qualify students to be a Health and safety officer. At the end of the course the students should be able to:

    • Maintain and protect health and safety standards within the public private organisations in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
    • Investigating /recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.
    • Undertaking risk assessments and site inspections
    • Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
    • Identifying potential hazards
    • Drawing – up safe operational practices
    • and making necessary changes.
    • Proving health and safety meetings and
    • training courses for employees/ managers
