Health and Safety
The Health and Safety course should qualify students to be a Health and safety officer. At the end of the course the students should be able to:
- Maintain and protect health and safety standards within the public private organisations in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
- Investigating /recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.
- Undertaking risk assessments and site inspections
- Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
- Identifying potential hazards
- Drawing – up safe operational practices
- and making necessary changes.
- Proving health and safety meetings and
- training courses for employees/ managers
